Overview

The Crestron Zūm App can be downloaded from the Google Play store. The Crestron Zūm App requires a Bluetooth-capable Android device. The iOS Zūm App does not currently support Zūm Wired room configuration. While Crestron lists Android 5.0 as the minimum OS requirement, Chief Integrations recommends a device with at least Android 10.0 or newer.

Troubleshooting

Problems Connecting to Zūm Room (Error 13)

If you cannot connect to the Zūm Room (i.e., the primary ZUMNET-JBOX for the room) using the Crestron Zūm App:

  • Verify the ZUMNET-JBOX is in "zum" mode
  • Verify that the primary ZUMNET-JBOX for the room is in "master" mode
  • Confirm you are on an Android device (the iOS app does not currently support Zūm Wired devices)
  • If you get an "Error 13" code:
    • Uninstall the app
    • Reboot your phone
    • Reinstall the app
    • Navigate to Android Application settings
    • Navigate to the Crestron Zūm App
    • Clear storage for the Crestron Zūm App
    • Open the Crestron Zūm App and accept the license agreements
    • Connect to the Zūm Room
    • When prompted, input a valid pin (default is 2468)
