3 +Crestron infiNET simplifies the installation process by enabling the installation of wireless devices, reducing the amount of time and material required for installation. Wireless devices communicate with the lighting control processor through a wireless gateway. In order for these devices to function, they must be "acquired" to the correct wireless gateway. Sometimes, it is possible that these devices lose the gateway and must be re-acquired to the gateway.

7 +To acquire or re-acquire an INETS-IOEX-DOOR-BATT door sensor to a gateway, complete the following steps:

9 +1. Put the wireless gateway into acquire mode by pressing the "Acquire" button
10 +1*. If there are multiple gateways, only put one into acquire mode at a time
11 +1. Locate the pinhole on the INETS-IOEX-DOOR-BATT and rapidly press it four times, holding on the fourth press for 12 seconds
12 +1*. A small pin is necessary to press this button
13 +1*. The button sequence is Press-Press-Press-Hold
14 +1. Release the button after the 12 second hold
15 +1*. The sensor will beep every 1.5 seconds while it tries to acquire to the gateway
16 +1*. If the sensor successfully acquires to the gateway, it will chirp once
17 +1*. If the sensor fails to acquire to the gateway, it will chirp three times
18 +1. Once all devices that are to be acquired to the gateway have been acquired, take the gateway out of acquire mode by pressing the "Acquire" button again
